Business Development Lead

This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in sales and business development. As a Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead generation: Utilize market research, networking, cold calling, and online platforms to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Sales cycle management: Manage the full sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Sales pipeline maintenance: Maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure consistent follow-ups with prospective clients.
Strategic Planning & Market Expansion:
  • Growth strategy implementation: Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Market analysis: Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new markets and opportunities.
  • Campaign execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute campaigns to attract new clients.
Relationship Management:
  • Client relationship building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Representation: Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Customer service: Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Proposal & Contract Management:
  • Proposal preparation: Prepare customized proposals, presentations, and business pitches.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and pricing in line with company guidelines.
  • Contract completion: Ensure timely and accurate completion of contracts and agreements.
Reporting & CRM Management:
  • Crm management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM tools.
  • Performance reporting: Report regularly on sales forecasts, targets, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Feedback provision: Provide feedback to product and service teams to improve offerings based on client insights.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience (2–5+ years) in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Strong understanding of B2B/B2C sales processes.
Desirable qualifications:
  • MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification.
  • Industry-specific knowledge.
  • Experience in CRM and sales automation tools.
