Data Center Sector Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Data Center Sector Business Development Specialist to drive business growth and development of the Data Center sector in Tamil Nadu.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, acquire, develop, and support Data Center sector customers in the assigned territory.
- Create and implement a business plan for Data Center sector development in the assigned region.
- Identify additional value propositions to the current Data Center customer base to expand account revenue, working closely with existing account sales teams.
- Identify and develop new customers not currently served in target markets.
- Formulate, agree, and implement sales and marketing strategies for the Data Center industry sector in accordance with the India DC sector lead.
- Lead the opportunity management process for Data Center opportunities to engage engineering support for scoping, pricing, and effective handover to operations for delivery to customer satisfaction.
- Increase awareness of Aggreko as an industry leader with innovative and progressive product/solution offerings in the assigned territory.
Requirements:
- Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field.
- Minimum 5 years of successful high-level sales experience in the industrial services environment.
- Understanding of Data Center sector technical fundamentals and organizational processes.
- Experience in selling or renting capital equipment or selling technical/engineering solutions or services within the Data Center customers.
- Experience in effectively managing and expanding territories, indicating strategic planning and execution abilities.
- Possess a general understanding of power generators, diesel engines, HVAC/temperature control equipment, contributing to informed sales discussions.
- Proficient in CRM systems like Salesforce, enabling efficient customer relationship management and sales tracking.
- Financial and commercial awareness to ensure focus on profitable growth.
