We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Technical Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team at Smiths Interconnect.
About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to leverage their expertise and drive business growth in a dynamic industry. As a Technical Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand our customer base, increase revenue, and strengthen our market position.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales plans to achieve annual targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new opportunities and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Business Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities, networking with key decision-makers and influencers to drive growth.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals that showcase our innovative solutions and secure new business wins.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in industrial automation/electronics engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical sales/Field Application Engineering (FAE) in a related background.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.
- A proven track record of driving sales growth, exceeding targets, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
