About the Position

This is a high-performing role within the Sales function of Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd, contributing significantly to the company's top-line revenue.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing, and product development programs across existing and new markets, with a focus on achieving business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Planning and Strategy

Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans, analyzing market trends, client needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.

Client Servicing and Relationship Management

Maintain strong relationships with key clients and agencies, providing market insights and promoting the company's services to drive incremental business.

Business Development and New Initiatives

Analyze industry trends and develop creative solutions to drive new business opportunities and expand the company's presence in existing markets.

Sales Review and Performance Analysis

Provide regular sales performance updates to senior management and contribute to identifying areas for improvement and strategic course corrections.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the media or advertising sector
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to articulate complex ideas effectively
  • Proven track record of driving business growth through innovative sales strategies and exceptional client relationships
  • Familiarity with market research and analysis tools, as well as media and advertising trends

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 based on industry standards and location. Note that this figure is an estimate and may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
