We are looking for a Senior Public Sector Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Public Sector, focusing specifically on Federal, State and Local Government clients.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in IT Consulting Business Development and previous experience working in the Public Sector environment.
The Senior Public Sector Sales Manager will be responsible for providing sales expertise and uncovering new business opportunities in the Public Sector.
This includes navigating complex sales processes, selling to leaders in a designated territory, owning the full sales cycle and negotiation through to the transition of new clients to the account management team.
The role also requires understanding Contract Procurement of Public Sector clients and leveraging internal resource teams to produce proof of concept and subject matter expertise.
The Senior Public Sector Sales Manager will own forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis and revive the relationship with dormant accounts/clients and generate revenue.
They will also support customer onboarding processes, including documentation, proposal preparation for specific projects/work, and assist in expanding delivery operations globally in other countries.
Estimated salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
