Branch Sales Manager for Circulation Excellence

Job OverviewWe're looking for a Branch Sales Manager for Circulation Excellence to lead our RMD (Results and Market Development) team in Bhopal. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for achieving circulation targets through planning and executing promotional & sales activities. You'll also manage overall RMD branch operations - Sales, mailroom, logistics, and commercial, ensuring seamless coordination with other verticals of the Bhopal branch.
Responsibilities- Drive circulation target achievement through demand generation and customer acquisition from various channels.
- Manage the Bhopal circulation sales team, assigning them sales targets, assisting, guiding, and coaching them to achieve individual targets.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline to ensure timely achievement of sales targets.
- Ensure timely collection of dealers' outstanding payments.
- Resolve any customer issues to ensure smooth business continuation.
- Establish and maintain trade relationships, handling trade-related issues effectively.
- Keep track of unsold inventory and market hygiene.
- Foster interaction and relationship-building with other functions/verticals of BCCL within the branch.
- Conduct ABC certifications for all TOI publications.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Master's degree in Sales & Marketing or a related field.
- At least 12-15 years of work experience, primarily in sales and distribution roles.
- A minimum of 6-7 years of managerial experience handling large sales teams.
- Excellent sales acquisition skills, which will be key to your success in this role.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Ability to drive and motivate team members to achieve individual goals.
- Suitable commercial and logistic skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills to ensure win-win outcomes for the company and customers.
- A team player who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to overcome hurdles in sales acquisition processes by seeking internal support when needed.
