Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead our high-performing sales team in the MICE industry. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with exceptional sales acumen and the ability to drive revenue growth in a competitive market.
About Us
WNY Holidays Pvt Ltd is a 12-year-old travel company providing domestic and international MICE services to clients across various industries. We are known for our creative execution of holiday plans and events, as well as our excellent associations and relationships with clients.
Job Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the corporate sales development process to generate new business associations and consistently achieve revenue targets. Key duties include:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies tailored to client needs to foster long-term business relationships and ensure sustained revenue growth.
- Taking complete ownership of growing revenue through strategic sales efforts, including market coverage, lead generation, and new business development initiatives.
- Identifying, prospecting, and engaging potential clients by leveraging networking opportunities, market research, and industry connections to convert opportunities into profitable business deals.
- Conducting in-depth consultations with clients to understand their specific requirements and proposing customized MICE solutions aligned with their objectives.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, marketing heads, and senior stakeholders within large and mid-sized corporate organizations to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Preparing and managing sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports to ensure alignment with organizational goals and targets.
- Collaborating effectively with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and creative departments, as well as external vendors and service providers to ensure seamless execution of MICE projects.
- Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to continually refine sales strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
- Participating in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand business reach and promote brand visibility.
- Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, market insights, and potential business development areas.
Qualifications and Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A proven track record of success in sales, specifically within the MICE industry.
- A strong network of industry contacts and relationships with corporate clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google doc suite and Microsoft Office.
- The willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
Salary
The estimated salary for this role is ₹12,00,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
