Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled High-Level Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Executive Sous Chef to take on a leadership role and drive the success of our Food and Beverage Department.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient running of the department, ensuring that all outlets and banquets operate successfully in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards. As Assistant Production Manager, you will play a key role in driving profitability and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Food and Beverage Department, ensuring seamless delivery of service and high-quality products.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • To work closely with the Hotel Management Team to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • To lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork throughout the department.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Hospitality or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as Executive Sous Chef or similar role in a larger operation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement.
  • A passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
