Job Description

The Head Chef, Culinary Operations, is responsible for leading the culinary team and overseeing all food and beverage operations. This role requires a strong background in culinary arts, with a focus on menu development, kitchen management, and staff supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership: Provide direction and guidance to the culinary team, ensuring that all dishes meet high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the hotel's chef de cuisine to create menus that showcase local flavors and ingredients, while meeting the needs of our discerning guests.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and sanitation.
  • Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled chefs and cooks who can deliver exceptional service to our guests.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in a senior culinary role, with a proven track record of success in menu development, kitchen management, and staff supervision.
  • Qualifications: A degree in culinary arts or a related field, with advanced certifications in food safety and sanitation.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of culinary professionals.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
