Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our culinary leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our hotel, ensuring the highest quality of food and beverage products, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Main Responsibilities:
- Culinary Operations: Develop and implement culinary strategies to meet the hotel's business objectives, including menu planning, food costing, and inventory management.
- Food and Beverage Management: Oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring seamless execution of events, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing coaching and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Financial Management: Manage the food and beverage budget, controlling costs and ensuring financial targets are met.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular kitchen audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Foster strong relationships with guests, responding to feedback and concerns, and ensuring their needs are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience in the culinary field, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
- Strong knowledge of culinary operations, food safety, and quality assurance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Demonstrated financial acumen, with a strong understanding of budgeting and cost control.
