Executive Chef and Culinary Department Head

About the Role:
The Executive Chef and Culinary Department Head is a key position within the Hyatt Corporation, responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the culinary department. Located in Mumbai, this role requires a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in a hotel or restaurant with good standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the assigned kitchen as an independent profit centre, adhering to Hyatt International standards and brand guidelines.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction while maintaining budget constraints.
- Collaborate with the management team to drive business growth and optimize operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury international brands.
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
- Basic computer skills in MS Office and recipe maintenance systems.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
