Job DescriptionSales and Business DevelopmentAs a Valve Sales and Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the valve industry. This will involve:
- Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor products, and customer demands;
- Preparing sales forecasts, customer activity reports, and providing feedback to improve product offerings.
You will also provide technical consultation to customers to understand their valve requirements and provide tailored solutions. This will involve:
- Providing technical support and recommendations based on client specifications, application requirements, and system compatibility;
- Conducting product demonstrations and training sessions to educate clients on valve features and usage;
- Collaborating with engineering and product teams to resolve technical inquiries and ensure that clients receive suitable products.
In addition, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. This will involve:
- Following up on leads, quotations, and proposals to secure orders;
- Acting as the primary point of contact between clients and the company for pre- and post-sales activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as sales or engineering;
- At least 2 years of experience in sales or technical support within the industrial or valve industry;
- Strong understanding of valve types, specifications, and applications in various industries;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and travel to client locations as needed.
