Job Title: HVAC Sales SpecialistEstimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Specialist to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of valve types, specifications, and applications in various industries.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in various industries.
- Generate leads, schedule client meetings, and present product offerings.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Technical Consultation:
- Work with customers to understand their valve requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Provide technical support and recommendations based on client specifications, application requirements, and system compatibility.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to educate clients on valve features and usage.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow up on leads, quotations, and proposals to secure orders.
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the company for pre- and post-sales activities.
- Market Research & Reporting:
- Monitor market trends, competitor products, and customer demands to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, customer activity reports, and provide feedback to improve product offerings.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote products.
- Technical Proficiency & Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the technical specifications, applications, and features of various types of valves (e.g., ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves).
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve technical inquiries and ensure that clients receive suitable products.
- Provide insights into product improvements based on client feedback and field observations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales or technical support within the industrial or valve industry.
- Strong understanding of valve types, specifications, and applications in various industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and travel to client locations as needed.
