Cleartrip is looking for an experienced Zonal Sales Manager to lead our hotel sales efforts in Hyderabad.

The role involves connecting and engaging with independent hotels, managing large-scale accounts, forming strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable performance of the region. This includes travelling to different cities, providing expertise, metrics, analysis, and recommendations based on industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of large hotel accounts
  • Forming strategic partnerships with hotel partners
  • Exposure to leading industry stalwarts and learning from their experiences
  • Building remote working relationships with hotel teams
  • Gaining contracting and financial acumen through market visits and negotiations
  • Relationship and Account Management: End-to-end account management, driving sustainable performance, and travel to different cities to provide expertise and recommendations
  • Portfolio Management and Driving Growth: Growing net revenue in the market by producing business plans, ensuring inventory levels exceed demand, and ensuring rate competitiveness
  • Negotiating: Networking, deal initiation, negotiation, and closure with hotels
  • Strategizing to market hotels better, helping hotel partners serve customer needs while growing their businesses
  • Managing operational activities with support from Business Managers to ensure revenue and transaction growth
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Establishing and maintaining supplier relationships, training partner hotels on extranet usage, reviewing monthly production reports, and providing feedback

About You:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Travel/Hospitality/Telecom/Banking sector
  • Preferred candidates having past work experience in sales/travel trade/key account management/contracting/B2B sales
  • Experience in handling large teams for a particular zone
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Market visits as required (need-based)
