**Job Title:** Regional Sales Director

**Location:** Hyderabad, India

At Smart Moves Consultants, we are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to drive revenue growth and market share within the energy vertical.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry challenges in renewables and utilities.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Industry Expertise: Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of market trends, regulatory changes, and key challenges facing companies in renewables and utilities.
  • Strategic Planning: Formulate and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive market share and revenue growth within the energy vertical.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by developing relationships with key accounts, system integrators, end customers, and channel partners at the regional level.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact and providing expert advice and solutions to their business challenges.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes, and provide insights and recommendations for product and service enhancements.
  • Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets by developing and executing a robust pipeline of opportunities for respective regions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies and client solutions.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, identifying potential threats, opportunities, and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular reports on regional sales performance, including sales forecasts, client feedback, and market trends to senior leadership.
  • New Prospect Identification: Find new prospects for business growth.
  • Product Approval: Work with end customers, system integrators, and key accounts to obtain product approvals and collaborate closely with them.
  • Customer Visits: Regularly visit existing prospects and identify new ones at the regional level, as per business requirements.

**Salary:** ₹8,00,000 - ₹12,00,000 per annum (estimated), depending on experience and qualifications.

**Requirements:** Proven experience in sales management, strong industry knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and a strategic mindset.
