Job Description

This role will be within OE Sales, encompassing customer interaction and backend processing responsibilities. The candidate will be responsible for generating quotes, participating in sales negotiations, conducting product presentations, and finalizing orders.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage customer interaction in assigned territories and end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Prepare bid approvals, quote/proposal.
  • Order verification with respect to commercial proposal and releasing order to the Sales Admin for further processing.
  • Ensure proper coordination between internal and external stakeholders and timely response & closure of open action items.
  • Buid a strong CRM with mid and senior level at the customer end.

Ensure the Smiths Code of Corporate Responsibility and Business Ethics is upheld in all activities.

The Individual

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's of engineering in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, instrumentation.
  • 6-8 years of commercial experience directly involved in front end technical sales. Prior experience working in SAP environment and data analysis & presentation.
  • Demonstrates a strong focus on customer satisfaction and determination to meet assigned sales objectives.
  • PowerPoint, Excel & MS Office skills to develop content based on data.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM/module.
Compensation & Benefits

We offer an estimated annual salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 depending on location and experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
