About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Lead to spearhead our efforts in the adhesive solutions market. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market share in the adhesive sector.
- Pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to foster long-term growth.
- Work closely with product development, marketing, and sales teams to align business objectives and drive product innovation.
- Prepare and present proposals, sales presentations, and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products.
- Analyse sales data and metrics to evaluate performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 7-8 years of experience in business development, preferably in the pressure-sensitive adhesives sector.
- Strong analytical skills to analyse market data and trends.
- Negotiation skills to secure contracts and deals with clients and partners.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
What We Offer
