Senior Sales Professional for Higher Education Institutions

Xebia Academy is seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our institutional sales efforts in Higher Education across India and internationally. The ideal candidate will partner with universities and educational institutions to provide cutting-edge technology courses on their campuses, managing the pipeline for acquiring new university partners and courses in conjunction with the product and university relations team.

This role requires a deep understanding of EdTech, online learning, and job-oriented technology courses offered in India. The incumbent will own the P&L and drive sales and revenue, profitability from various programs offered in partnership with prestigious universities and higher education institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sign up university partners for the company's academic alliance programs in Digital Technologies across India and the Middle East region.
  • Own revenue targets and P&L, driving profitability from new customers.
  • Own the end-to-end renewal process for all existing university partners.
  • Help launch emerging technology courses on university campuses, drive adoption by developing learner engagement programs, and curate course content to match university needs.
  • Provide direction to the operations and program management team and enhance the candidate learning experience for learners enrolled.
  • Strategize and execute marketing campaigns for various courses offered in collaboration with university partners.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with university partners, including chancellors, owners, deans, HODs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Market research and identify growth opportunities by introducing new training programs targeted to help individuals learn new technologies and gain hands-on experience using our digital learning platform.
  • Maintain networking and working relations with Education/Training owners and functional SMEs to ensure timely engagement, transparency, and aligned decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of defined technology standards, guidelines, and patterns and the latest technology trends.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of EdTech, online learning, and job-oriented technology courses offered in India.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Higher Education with hands-on experience with respect to curriculum, credit transfers, and disciplines.
  • Excellent marketing/channel, relationship, and communication management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivated with a clear vision to lead and add to organization growth.
  • Results-driven; ability to work with senior university administrators and faculty.
  • Excellent team player and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills; meets deadlines.
