Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Business Development Director to join our team in Pune. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new leads, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and managing the sales cycle to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new leads in the assigned market segments (Semiconductor, Automotive, Metering)
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends
- Develop and implement territory plans to achieve sales targets
- Forecast sales pipeline and revenue
- Manage the sales cycle: build strong relationships with potential and existing customers, understand technical requirements, propose solutions that meet customer needs, prepare compelling presentations and proposals, negotiate pricing and contracts to win deals, manage customer accounts, and ensure satisfaction
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with FAEs, PMs, and other internal teams to ensure successful project execution
- Maintain regular communication with principals and suppliers
- Prepare clear and concise reports on sales activities and performance
Requirements:
- MBA or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 5-6 years of proven experience in a B2B sales role, preferably within the Semiconductor, Automotive, or Metering industries
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing large accounts
- Strong understanding of technical concepts relevant to the assigned market segments
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (Zoho/ERP)
