Job Title: L1 Field Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled technical professional to provide on-site and remote support for end-users across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on assistance with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Troubleshoot operating system and application-related problems (Windows, MS Office, email, etc.) and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade end-user hardware and software as per IT standards and policies.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and group policies in Active Directory to maintain security and compliance.
  • Support connectivity issues including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and IP telephony to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs or replacements to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Log incidents and service requests accurately in the ITSM tool and follow through to resolution to demonstrate professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding activities (device setup, profile configurations) to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Maintain documentation, FAQs, and user guides for common issues to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of end-user devices, software, and operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Proficiency in using ITSM tools and software applications to track and resolve incidents and service requests.
