Tor Limited, a pioneer in industrial IoT solutions, invites applications for the role of Regional Business Development Manager. This exciting opportunity requires a seasoned sales professional to drive business growth and expand our customer base in the Kolkata region.

About the Role
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to promote our Shield IoT application for remote monitoring of utilities (energy, water, Genset, HAVC, AHU, busbar temperature, and APFC panels) to key clients in the manufacturing sector.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives and challenges to effectively communicate our solutions.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities within the hotel, mall, and education sectors, expanding our client base.
  • Showcase a deep understanding of our product, articulating its value proposition convincingly to clients.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with clients, navigating discussions to secure agreements that are mutually advantageous.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to align strategies and exceed client expectations.
  • Produce regular, comprehensive sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for the management team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and account management, especially in the manufacturing sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Edge Industrial IoT gateways, field devices and interfaces, sensors and industry protocols, power systems, and the automation ecosystem.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or relevant education qualification.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, based on experience.
