As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling our retention engine across Email, WhatsApp, SMS, and Push Notifications. This full-time, remote opportunity is perfect for someone passionate about customer loyalty, lifetime value (LTV) growth, and habit-forming strategies in direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce.
If you have a proven track record of moving customers from first purchase to repeat purchases, loyalty, and ultimate brand advocacy, this is the role where you'll get to put your expertise to work.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Developing a comprehensive retention roadmap, incorporating flows, automations, and campaigns across various channels.
- Designing customer journeys that increase repeat purchases, shorten reorder cycles, and build habits that make our supplements an integral part of a pet parent's daily routine.
- Moving customers through loyalty phases—first-time, repeat, loyalist, and advocate.
LTV Growth & Analytics
You'll monitor and optimize LTV, retention curves, churn, reorder intervals, and loyalty metrics. You'll execute strategies to increase LTV by 30% in 60 days and 100%+ in 12 months. You'll tie retention performance directly to growth objectives.
Copywriting & Campaign Execution
You'll craft high-converting copy for emails, WhatsApp flows, and SMS that resonate emotionally with pet parents. You'll create campaigns that blend education, storytelling, and direct response to drive action. You'll test subject lines, hooks, offers, and storytelling angles relentlessly.
Systems, Tools & Automation
You'll build and manage advanced retention flows in Klaviyo, QuickReply, and equivalent platforms. You'll utilize ChatGPT and automation tools to streamline workflows and generate insights. You'll create and optimize reporting dashboards that give real-time visibility into retention performance.
Leadership & Collaboration
You'll collaborate closely with the founder and growth team to integrate retention into the overall marketing strategy. You'll be a natural leader: set processes, assign tasks, and push for continuous improvement. You'll stay ahead of e-commerce retention trends and bring fresh strategies to the table.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- 3+ years of experience in retention marketing for D2C e-commerce.
- Proven success in scaling Email, WhatsApp, SMS, and Push Notification channels.
- Platform expertise in Klaviyo, QuickReply, and equivalents.
- Strong copywriting skills (you must be able to write your own campaigns, not just brief them).
- Solid understanding of LTV, cash flow, churn reduction, and customer loyalty models.
- Proficiency with ChatGPT and prompting + strong grasp of automation workflows.
- Ability to design strategies that improve reorder cycles, habit formation, and loyalty-driven LTV growth.
