Job Description
  • Market Expansion & Sales Growth: Lead and drive sales of Personal Care and Flavors & Fragrance chemicals in the US market, increasing market share, identifying new customers, and developing strategic business opportunities in key segments like Personal Care and Flavors & Fragrance.
  • NBD & Customer Relationship Management: Strengthen relationships with existing customers, focusing on key account management, repeat orders, and customer satisfaction. Expand the Key Account portfolio by consistently generating repeat business and enhancing customer loyalty.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to meet aggressive sales targets and quarterly profit margins, in alignment with Elchemy's Vision, Mission, Values, and broader cross-functional business objectives for the US market.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and lead the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Digital Transformation & Innovation: Champion the adoption of digital tools and technologies to streamline sales processes, enhance customer experiences, and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular reports to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.

This role is pivotal in driving Elchemy's growth in the US market, ensuring a strong foothold in the Personal Care, Flavors & Fragrance sectors, and achieving long-term business success.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation capabilities.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in leading sales efforts, particularly in the US market for chemicals, preferably personal care or flavors and fragrance segments.
  • Highly driven, ambitious, and passionate about sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performance sales teams.
  • Preferred qualities include entrepreneurial mindset, strong techno-commercial acumen, excellent networking skills, ownership, commitment, and high emotional intelligence.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
