About the Role:
Virtuous Advisors & Resources Private Ltd seeks a skilled Strategic Portfolio Growth Manager - Corporate Banking to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing high-quality credit proposals, assisting the Relationship Manager in operations of the existing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Relationship Manager in effectively managing the portfolio of clients, focusing on bringing aggressive growth through sanction and disbursement of new corporate banking clients.
- Prepare well-structured credit proposals and present them to risk management for sanction (up to ₹500 Cr with no cap).
- Ensure thorough understanding of the disbursement process, including legal and valuation aspects.
- Deepen the share of wallet for acquired portfolios by identifying opportunities for growth.
- Monitor clients' day-to-day activities, identifying potential value-destroying assets and taking corrective action.
- Presentation skills: Present cases to committees for sanction and have experience with local market knowledge, including leading large-market clients.
- Ability to structure facilities according to client and bank needs in synergy with the Relationship Manager.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of credit note preparation and proposal.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with local market conditions and ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Experience working with corporate banking clients preferred.
