Job Overview

The National Sales Director, India will be responsible for driving the commercial objectives in India, a key market for Ohmium. This role will oversee all aspects of Ohmium's go-to-market strategy for India and represent the company's values in dealings with internal and external stakeholders.

This position requires a strong understanding of commercial acumen and customer orientation, as well as excellent cross-functional leadership and organizational skills to leverage Ohmium's growing Operations and Engineering footprint in India.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • End-to-end commercial responsibility for India, from prospecting potential customers to securing enquiries, converting them to orders, managing customer relationships during delivery, and finalizing cash collection.
  • Leverage Ohmium's Regional and Global footprint to grow the company's brand value and business in India.
  • Develop and execute the Strategic (Mid to Long Term) and Operating (Current Year) Sales Plan for India.
  • Establish and execute Key Account Management Plans for India.
  • Collaborate with other functional stakeholders to deliver customer satisfaction throughout the customer engagement lifecycle.
  • Attract, recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent.
  • Set high performance standards and implement a robust performance measurement system for the sales team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with 15-20 years of total experience, including at least ten years in a leadership role. Experience working for a multi-national organization is preferred.

Fluency in oral and written English is essential. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage. Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.

Estimated Salary: ₹60,00,000 - ₹80,00,000 per annum
