Conference and Event Sales Director

About This Role
">The Event Sales Manager is a critical position within Hyatt Regency Dehradun, responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This individual will act as a sales specialist, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and be accountable for the management of events.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in the efficient running of the department in line with corporate strategies and brand standards;
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track sales performance and event progress;
- Bid on new business opportunities, utilizing strong selling techniques and knowledge of the local market;
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue targets;
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure loyalty and repeat business;
Requirements
- Relevant degree or diploma in hospitality or tourism management;
- A minimum of 2 years' work experience as a sales manager or sales executive in a luxury international brand hotel;
- Demonstrated understanding of selling techniques and events knowledge;
- Proficiency in MS Office, email, Envision/ OPERA (or similar software) will be an asset.
