Job Description

The Senior Sales Director - DI Pipes is responsible for driving the growth of the DI Pipes business by achieving defined sales targets, driving client engagement, and optimizing travel for maximum sales efficiency. This role involves developing a robust sales strategy, identifying new opportunities, converting leads, and ensuring effective onboarding and training of sales team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document a sales strategy, including target markets, key accounts, and a lead generation plan.
• Identify and qualify a minimum number of leads, focusing on industry-specific targets.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets of 50 times their basic salary.
• Implement travel efficiency strategies, aiming to reduce travel days while maintaining or improving sales performance.

Performance Metrics

• Monthly sales achievement: Meet or exceed the monthly sales target of 50 times the basic pay.
• Travel efficiency: Effectively convert visits into sales, considering reduced travel impact on sales performance.
• Client engagement: Maintain a strong network of client relationships, resulting in regular meetings and conversions.
• Sales performance with reduced travel: Ensure continued target achievement despite reduced travel days, emphasizing the quality of client engagements.

Reporting Requirements

• Weekly reports: Track short-term progress, highlighting travel outcomes, client contact details, order status, value, duration of supply, and immediate next steps.
• Monthly reports: Summarize monthly activities, comparing target vs. achievement and providing full CRM-generated MIS with relevant metrics.
• Quarterly reports: Review long-term strategy and performance, featuring comprehensive reports, detailed client contact information, and full CRM MIS analysis.
