Zonal Sales Manager (NBA)
is responsible for driving sales, managing distributor and store operations, achieving business targets, and ensuring optimal inventory management within the assigned zone. This role requires leadership skills to manage teams, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and execute marketing strategies effectively.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesAchievement of Primary, Secondary, Collection discussed, agreed and decided by the companyAchievement of Collection, DSO & Ageing targetsInventory management at the store & distributor level (FIFO & New launches)Achievement Category & New launches targetsMaintain stock cover of 35 to 45 days at distributorsResponsible for Sales Reports and other business reports as required from time to time like Stock & SalesReport, OPEX, Daily sales, weekly sales, summary, NBA productivity, closing stock etcMarket expansion for non assist channelTimely submission of distributor claimMust maintain/develop good relations with all key retailers & Distributors as well as with the sales teamAppointment of new distributors, market and geography ExpansionExecution of all Marketing/ promotional activitiesTimely Reporting of all market/competition activities
The Ideal ProfileBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related fieldMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial roleExperience in FMCG, Retail, or General Trade (non assist channel/Retail store) is preferredProven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.Preferred Regional Experience (West Zone)
