Accountability Facilitate Acquisition of Channels Plan, implement and monitor acquisition of channels through a process across the regions to ensure that the desired objectives of sales in the geographies are met

Support implementation of a standard process of channel acquisition for the zone basis defined criteria and broad business framework Educate all regional teams about the process Ensure that a Channel Induction Process is in place for an orientation with its management philosophy, terms of business etc. Periodically evaluate effectiveness of the channel to ascertain that the volume outcomes behind the ac uisition are bein met

Channel Development & Monitoring Plan and implement a channel development process in existing and new markets to support targeted volumes and reduce any skewed dependence on channels

Facilitate Planning & Budgeting for the zone to achieve targeted volumes through network optimization Prepare plans for penetration into new markets basis market potential, logistics capabilities in consultation with the Regions and review its implementation Monitoring of improvement in regional Cemtrak parameters such as Depth of Distribution, Numeric Reach, Counter Share, Market Share etc. as per P&B plan Facilitate plans for improvement in sales, margin tracking, CRM initiatives etc. in consultation with Regional Sales Teams Monitor sales force effectiveness through various Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools such as call cycle analysis, etc Ensure periodic updation of Cemtrack, highlight variations to the ZH and take corrective action

Rural Marketing Plan, implement and track penetration of UltraTech Cement in the rural markets to

Prepare plans to enter the markets including pricing, volumes, distribution etc. Establish network capability and acquire/build as required Facilitate plans to achieve

achieve market expansion

targeted sales growth in rural markets Facilitate brand visibility by working with Marketing Services for BTL activities Co-ordinate with Technical Services to support sales in rural markets Study best practices of rural marketing distribution network in FMCG/Fertiliser/allied industries fora lication in Cement

Channel Engagement Plan and drive diverse set of measures to reward & recognize contribution of the channels to the business objectives of UltraTech Cement

Evaluation of Trade Schemes and their feasibility to deliver sales objectives Work with the regional sales teams in developing suitable Trade Schemes to achieve the desired objectives Evaluate Trade Schemes/Loyalty Programs of competition Recommend alternative methods of according recognition to the Channel in consultation with the Regions Plan and implement IT enabled solutions for the various loyalty and CRM ro rams

Channel Training Plan and implement channel training initiatives to ensure that the desired capabilities are built in the Channel and their conduct with customers conveys the brand image of UltraTech Cement

Work with the various regional sales teams to identify the training needs of the various channels Deploy various training methods to impart training to the channels on the targeted needs identified Evaluate effectiveness of the
