KeyResponsibilities:
Sales& MarketingPlanning
- Assistthe Director of Sales in the development of the Strategic SalesPlan for the segments.
- Ensure to achieveobjectives established in the Organizations StrategicPlan.
PeopleManagement
- Establishand maintain seamless coordination & cooperation with alldepartments of Novotel ImagicaaKhopoli.
- To ensure maximumcooperation productivity and guestservice.
- Develop and maintain effectiverelationships with all thedepartments.
- Respond toqueries by resolving issues in a timely and efficientmanner.
- Ensure that theteam has been trained for all safetyprovisions.
- Ensure that all personnel are keptwell informed of departments objectives andpolicies.
- Motivate and develop team to ensuresmooth functioning of the department and promoteteamwork.
FinancialManagement
- Identifyoptimal cost effective use of the resources and educate the team onthesame.
OperationalManagement
- Identifyprospects for sales deals within targeted markets of the assignedarea segment and also prepare and conduct sales presentations forthem.
- Ensure to report regularly to theAssociate Director of Sales on progress of the various activitiesprovide information about prospective customers make forecasts andtrack current customer feedback.
- Submit monthlyand weekly sales plan and market analysis (monthly) as well asdaily sales/activity reports.
- Contribute toincrease in business volume.
- Prepare annualsales goals develop working plans to carry out goals compare actualachievements against goal periodically take necessarycorrectiveaction
Hygiene/ Personal safety /Environment:
- Ensuresthat the workplace and storage areas remain clean andtidy
- Respects the instructions and safetyguidelines for the equipment (s)he uses
- Appliesthe hotels security regulations (in case of fireetc)
- Respects the hotels commitments to theEnvironment Charter (saving energy recycling sorting waste etc) andmeets Novotel ISO 14001 environmental commitments as applicable tothe role if the hotel is involved in theprogramme.
