Business Development Manager Public Sector

- Provideyour sales expertise and uncover new business opportunities in thePublic Sector focusing specifically on Federal State and LocalGovernmentclients.
- Navigatethrough complex sales processes and sell to leaders in a designatedterritory owning the full sales cycle and negotiation through tothe transition of new clients to the account managementteam.
- UnderstandContract Procurement of Public Sectorclients.
- Leverageinternal resource teams to produce proof of concept and subjectmatter expertise ensuring successful clientengagement.
- Ownforecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/ annualbasis.
- Revive therelationship with dormant accounts/ clients and generaterevenue.
- Support incustomer onboarding processes including documentation MSA (MasterService Agreement) NDA (NonDisclosure Agreement) SOW (Scope ofWork) TO (Task Order) PO (Purchase Order)etc.
- Support inproposal preparation for specific project/work.
- Assist inexpanding delivery operations globally in othercountries.
- Initiateoutreach (email and calls) to executives at existing clients andnew companies that are potential partners and stay persistentthroughout the process to close thedeal.
- Travel togovernment meetups and industry trade shows to develop newclients.
Requirements:
- 5Years of IT Consulting Business DevelopmentExperience
- Previousexperience working in Public Sectorenvironment.
- Priorexperience working in a management function within the IT industryor the equivalent will be aplus.
- Excellentstrategic thinking skills strong written and verbal communicationsuperb problemsolving skills strong timemanagementskills.
- Excellentinterpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate BUactivities.
- Excellentknowledge of Office suite tools (Excel WordOutlook).
- Aselfstarter who takes pride in their work and has the drive tosucceed.
- Updateinternal databases e.g. client recordsetc.
- Create regularreports and presentations on clientmetrics.
- Answer clientqueries about deliveryrelatedissues.
- US (UnitedStates) Visa holders will be givenpreference
