Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Director of Sales to lead and grow our India-based IT staffing and services business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business expansion, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering consistent revenue growth through both staffing and IT service solutions. This position requires proven experience in the Indian IT staffing ecosystem, deep client relationships, and a strong ability to lead high-performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for IT staffing and project-based service offerings across India.
- Identify and onboard new clients across sectors such as BFSI, Telecom, Healthcare, and Product-based firms.
- Take full ownership of business development, account management, and client retention initiatives to expand market presence and revenue.
- Collaborate with delivery, operations, and recruitment teams to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles including RFP/RFI responses, negotiations, and contract closures.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts to senior management.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and client demands to develop competitive go-to-market strategies.
- Represent the company at corporate meetings, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in IT staffing sales, with at least 3 - 5 years in a senior leadership role in India.
- Proven track record in developing and managing large enterprise accounts and achieving consistent revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the India IT staffing landscape, MSP/VMS models, and client procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Permanent staffing models.
- Experience in selling IT Managed Services, RPO, or Consulting solutions.
- Existing relationships with top Indian IT enterprises and multinational clients.
