Inside Sales Team Leader

Role Summary:
We are seeking a driven and results-focused Inside Sales Manager to lead and scale our inside sales team. This is a pivotal role that combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution—perfect for someone who thrives on coaching teams, closing deals, and improving sales processes.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a keen eye for metrics, and a deep understanding of what it takes to convert leads into customers. You'll also collaborate closely with the Sales Excellence team to enhance workflows, scripts, and tools, making our inside sales engine more efficient and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
● Team Leadership & Training: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Inside Sales Executives to ensure consistent performance and high morale. Conduct regular training sessions and feedback reviews.
● Sales Performance Management: Track individual and team KPIs (lead conversion, follow-up rate, deal closure, etc.) using CRM dashboards. Identify bottlenecks and take corrective actions to meet and exceed targets.
● Own the Sales Funnel (IC Role): Personally manage a portfolio of select leads—from initial contact to final closure—demonstrating high-level execution and setting a benchmark for the team.
● Process Optimization: Partner with the Sales Excellence team to continuously refine scripts, objection-handling frameworks, call cadences, and CRM workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes.
● Reporting & Forecasting: Generate weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts. Share insights with leadership and recommend course corrections when necessary.
● Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align on lead quality and targeting. Collaborate with the customer success and operations teams for seamless onboarding of closed accounts.
Key Requirements:
● 3–6 years of experience in inside sales, including 1+ years in a team leadership or managerial role.
● Proven ability to manage sales pipelines and close small-to-mid-sized deals independently.
● Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, inspire, and lead teams toward high performance.
● Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) and sales analytics dashboards.
● Analytical mindset with a strong grasp of sales metrics and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
● Excellent communication skills—verbal and written—with a customer-centric outlook.
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
