Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary operations at our Inej Digital Executive Lounge in Mumbai. The role requires expertise in menu planning, kitchen management, and delivering high-quality dining experiences in line with luxury lounge standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, including chefs, commis, and stewards
  • Plan, design, and execute innovative menus for lounge guests
  • Ensure consistency in food taste, presentation, and portioning
  • Monitor food costing, inventory control, and wastage management
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards as per FSSAI norms
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain culinary excellence
  • Collaborate with management for menu engineering and promotional events
  • Handle vendor management and sourcing of quality raw materials
  • Prepare daily/weekly kitchen reports and cost analysis for management

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management
  • 6–10 years of experience in culinary operations with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong expertise in multi-cuisine (continental, Indian, and lounge-friendly menus preferred)
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills
  • Knowledge of kitchen cost control, budgeting, and food safety standards
  • Creative, passionate about food, and committed to innovation
  • Well-groomed, professional, and guest-oriented personality

Location: Mumbai – Inej Digital Executive Lounge

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Salary: Competitive + Benefits + Incentives
