Job Title: L&D Head Field Sales, Retail & Customer Service Training
Location: Ghatkopar - Need local candidates , No relocation
About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Learning & Development Head to design, implement, and scale training programs for field sales, retail, and customer service teams. The role requires strong expertise in sales capability building, product & process training, onboarding frameworks, and performance improvement initiatives across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and drive end-to-end L&D strategy for field sales, retail stores & customer service teams.
- Build training modules for onboarding, product knowledge, sales pitch, soft skills & customer experience.
- Conduct TNI (Training Need Identification) in collaboration with business & HR stakeholders.
- Develop scalable training frameworks classroom, virtual, LMS-based, role-play, on-the-job, etc.
- Build and lead a team of regional trainers / field trainers.
- Track training effectiveness through performance scorecards, productivity uplift & post-training ROI.
- Standardize SOPs, training decks, assessments, certification programs.
- Work closely with business leadership to support new market launches & capability ramp-ups.
- Implement digital learning tools, gamified learning, LMS & continuous learning initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end execution of training calendar, audits, feedback & improvement cycles.
Key Requirements:
- 8–12+ years of experience in L&D/Training — must have worked in field sales/retail-focused organizations (FMCG, BFSI, Telecom, Retail, EdTech, Healthcare, etc.)
- Strong exposure to front-line team training (not only corporate/LMS-based).
- Hands-on experience in building training strategy, content design & delivery.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management & leadership skills.
- Ability to drive high-impact result-oriented learning interventions at scale.
Good to Have:
- Prior experience in start-up / fast-paced growth environments.
- Experience in sales excellence, NPS improvement, or performance coaching.
