With a planned investment of over $1 billion over the next 3 years, we aim to deploy 10,000+ battery swapping stations across 50+ cities, integrating with IndianOil's 37,000+ fuel station network to create the nation's largest battery swapping infrastructure.

Manager/Senior Manager – Business Development, B2C

Location:

Role Overview:

We are looking for a high-performing, execution-driven Manager to anchor Indofast's electric 2W B2C sales across designated markets. The role involves leading local deployment of our D2C strategy, onboarding and scaling micro-fleet partners, managing B2C channel performance, and ensuring excellent consumer sales experience. This is a high-impact role where speed, accountability, and cross-functional leadership are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Execution & Growth

  • Own B2C performance metrics of assigned Region/OEM: vehicle onboarding, swap usage, fleet utilization, and customer adoption
  • Manage the deployment of 2W swappable EVs through micro-fleets and local partnerships.
  • Drive daily/weekly/monthly growth KPIs in assigned region with a revenue-first mindset.
  • Monitor unit economics per OEM/Region and ensure profitability guardrails.
  • Ensure process adherence and timely escalation of any hinderance for execution or growth.
  • Strong program management to ensure good stakeholder management to liaison around all BD requirements, mainly with Marketing, Inside sales, Service, Tech, and Finance requirements.
  • Strong program management with matrices monitoring with all external stakeholders and vendors.
  • Present insights, blockers, and opportunities to leadership on a structured cadence.
  • Track metrics using internal dashboards, prepare weekly reviews for GM and central leadership.

Market GTM & Local Intelligence

  • Execute GTM playbooks across society activations, tech park events, college events, retail partnerships, hyperlocal channels and identify more channels to scale business and revenue.
  • Localize outreach efforts for high 2W ownership and high-spend TG by identifying the TG and metricize with density, paying capacity etc.
  • Feed regional market insights to the central GTM team for continuous refinement.

What We're Looking For:

  • 6–10 years of experience in BD roles, Growth roles in high-growth B2C startups, EV, mobility, last-mile logistics.
  • Prior experience in managing business development, operations, Retail, B2C/ D2C.
  • Strong grasp of P&L levers, collections, field team management, Inside sales team management, structural thinking with operational rigor.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – hands-on, resourceful, and action-oriented.
  • Ability to build processes and teams from scratch in high-growth environments.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, speed, and working in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent from a Tier 1/2 institute (not mandatory if proven execution record).
  • Regional language fluency (as per deployment territory) is a plus.
  • Experience with battery swapping models, dealership network, retail sales is an advantage.
