We are looking for a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at The Leela Ambience in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in pastry cuisine.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts to perfection.
  • Develop and implement new dessert menus and recipes to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal costs.
  • Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive and innovative culinary experiences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Train and supervise junior staff members to ensure excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a reputable establishment, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry dough preparation, baking techniques, and decorating methods.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with trends and techniques in pastry cuisine.
