Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our B2B sales efforts within the HORECA category. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and knowledgeable professional with a proven track record in food service sales. You will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business accounts, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for our wholesale division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
Actively prospect, cold call, and visit new potential clients within the HORECA sector, including fine-dining restaurants, luxury hotels, and high-end cafes. - Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with chefs, F&B managers, and procurement teams to understand their needs and position La Mie Bakehouse as their preferred bakery partner. - Sales & Negotiations:
Present our product portfolio, negotiate pricing and contracts, and close new wholesale accounts. - Market Analysis:
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new product opportunities to help inform our sales strategy. - Order Management:
Oversee the entire sales process from initial contact to order placement, working closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. - Product Expertise:
Maintain a deep understanding of our products—from the sourdough's unique fermentation process to the quality of our viennoiseries—and articulate their value to potential clients. - Reporting:
Track sales performance, report on key metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management on progress and market feedback.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
Proven experience in a B2B sales role, specifically within the food and beverage or hospitality industry. Prior experience selling to restaurants, hotels, or cafes is highly preferred. - Skills:
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively. - Passion:
A genuine passion for high-quality food, especially artisan breads and pastries, is a significant advantage. - Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the local HORECA landscape and key industry players. - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is a plus.
