We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our team in the Asian Cuisine department at JW Marriott. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in the culinary industry, with a strong background in cooking and preparing Asian dishes.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Asian cuisine dishes, including stir-fries, curries, and noodle dishes.
  • Maintain high levels of food quality and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in an Asian cuisine restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of food quality and presentation standards.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, and cleaning procedures.
  • Adaptability to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible approach to work.
