Role Summary
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced
Regional Sales Manager
to oversee and grow sales operations in the
Varanasi region
, specifically in the
Beverage and FMCG sectors
. The ideal candidate will manage a team, expand market presence, strengthen distributor networks, and ensure revenue goals are met consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the Varanasi region.
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to increase market share.
Identify business opportunities and new market segments within the Beverage/FMCG domain.
Team Management
Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of Sales Executives/Sales Officers.
Conduct regular training, field visits, and performance reviews.
Distribution & Market Expansion
Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
Ensure proper distribution coverage, ROI management, and inventory planning.
Drive visibility, merchandising, and product placement initiatives.
Channel Management
Manage Modern Trade, General Trade, and Institutional Sales as applicable.
Ensure promotional schemes and trade marketing initiatives are executed effectively.
Operations & Reporting
Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Prepare periodic Sales MIS, forecasting reports, and business reviews.
Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and marketing teams for seamless operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
2–7 years of experience in Beverage/FMCG sales, including regional management.
Strong distributor handling experience.
Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
Strong analytical ability and proficiency in MS Excel & sales reporting tools.
Ability to travel extensively across the Varanasi region.
