Job Description: Regional Sales Manager (FMCG & Beverage Domain)
Role Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales, managing distributors, expanding market share, and achieving revenue targets across assigned territories in the FMCG & Beverage category.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional sales strategy to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Manage and grow distributor/wholesaler network.
Monitor secondary & tertiary sales, stock levels, and product availability.
Lead and motivate a team of Sales Executives/ASMs/TSIs.
Conduct market visits, competitor analysis, and pricing studies.
Drive visibility, merchandising, and placement activities at retail outlets.
Plan and implement trade promotions, schemes, and channel incentives.
Ensure proper route planning and productivity of field staff.
Build strong relationships with retailers, modern trade outlets, and distributors.
Prepare MIS reports, sales forecasts, and performance reviews.
Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
3–12 years of FMCG/Beverage sales experience.
Strong knowledge of general trade, modern trade, and distributor management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyze sales data and take quick decisions.
Proven record of achieving sales targets.
