Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Varanasi for an Area Sales Manager specializing in Beverages and FMCG. The Area Sales Manager will drive sales growth and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners and retailers. Responsibilities include implementing sales strategies, achieving targets, supervising and motivating the field sales team, monitoring market trends, conducting competitor analysis, and managing inventory efficiently. This role also involves extensive area coverage and ensuring effective execution of business plans within the assigned territory.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Sales, Territory Management, and Channel Distribution within the Beverages and FMCG sectors
- Strong skills in Relationship Management and Negotiation
- Analytical abilities to perform Competitor Analysis and Market Trend Identification
- Team management capabilities to guide and lead field sales personnel effectively
- Proficiency in Communication (written and verbal) and Presentation Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Sales Management, preferably in the FMCG or Beverage industries
- Available to work on-site and travel across the assigned territory as needed
