Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Business Manager located in Varanasi. The Area Business Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing business plans for the designated territory, and managing a team of sales representatives. Day-to-day tasks include market analysis, fostering relationships with healthcare professionals, implementing marketing strategies, tracking sales performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role also involves monitoring competitor activities and providing insights to enhance business growth within the region.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and team management skills to effectively guide and motivate sales representatives.
  • Strong sales, business development, and territory management expertise in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for engaging healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to conduct market analysis and improve sales performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field; an MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales or as an Area Business Manager is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using sales and reporting software tools.
  • Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory as required.
