Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing hotel operations during their shift, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments, maintaining high guest satisfaction, and resolving any issues promptly. This role acts as the point of contact for guests and staff, ensuring that hotel standards and policies are upheld at all times.

Key Responsibilities: Operational Oversight

  • Supervise daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless coordination between all departments.
  • Monitor the front office, housekeeping, F&B, and other operational areas to maintain service standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house for cleanliness and compliance.

Guest Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for guest complaints, requests, and emergencies, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Greet VIP and repeat guests, ensuring personalized service and hospitality.
  • Monitor guest feedback and work with departments to implement improvements.

Staff Supervision

  • Lead and guide operational teams during the shift to maintain service quality.
  • Conduct shift briefings, assign responsibilities, and ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Support team members in handling challenging situations and decision-making.

Safety & Security

  • Ensure compliance with hotel safety and security protocols.
  • Handle emergency situations such as fire alarms, accidents, or medical incidents calmly and effectively.
  • Maintain logbooks and prepare incident reports as required.

Financial & Administrative Tasks

  • Oversee cash handling, billing, and night audit procedures (if applicable).
  • Ensure proper room allocation, check-in/check-out processes, and guest account settlements.
  • Prepare shift reports and hand over pending tasks to the next shift.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Knowledge of PMS (Property Management System) and MS Office.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35, ₹40,000.00 per month
