The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and maximizing revenue for the hotel through corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), travel trade, and other market segments. The role involves active sales calls, networking, and promoting the hotel's services and facilities to achieve set sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities to increase hotel revenue.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections with potential and existing clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event organizers.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with company policies.
  • Negotiate rates and packages while ensuring profitability.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the management.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop promotions and campaigns.
  • Keep track of competitor activities, market trends, and client feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained during the sales process and client interactions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (1–3 years) in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and target-driven.
  • Good knowledge of local and international market trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software (IDS/Opera or similar)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
