About the Role :

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth initiatives in the Banking and NBFC domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding the companys market presence. This role requires strong knowledge of financial services, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the Banking/NBFC sector.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and market intelligence.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through effective account management.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Meet sales and revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, credit, compliance) to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Prepare business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks for prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with potential clients to close deals.
  • Participate in industry events, networking sessions, and client meetings to enhance visibility.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities.
  • Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate financial solutions.
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to enhance client value.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bacheloras/Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in Banking, NBFC, or Financial Services.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, credit processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and business opportunities.
