Role & responsibilities
- Drive business development initiatives in India, particularly in emerging IoT-related market opportunities.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with Advantechs global and regional business goals.
- Identify and grow strategic partnerships, channel relationships, and customer pipelines in Delhi, Bangalore, and other targeted regions.
- Collaborate closely with regional offices (Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai) and HQ teams to align on business plans and market execution.
- Lead sales planning, forecasting, and performance reviews to ensure profitable growth.
- Represent the region in business reviews and strategy alignment with headquarters.
- Ensure effective collaboration across functions such as CM&D, technical, and operations teams to deliver complete solutions to customers.
- Lead team development, delegate effectively, and foster a performance-driven culture.
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 8~10 years in IT hardware business development, preferably in IoT or industrial tech sectors.
- Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
- Fluent in English and Hindi, and excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders across regions.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams to drive performance and growth.
- Strong market insight and financial skills with the ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies.
- Good understanding of the Indian market and customer landscape.
