Role & responsibilities

  • Drive business development initiatives in India, particularly in emerging IoT-related market opportunities.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with Advantechs global and regional business goals.
  • Identify and grow strategic partnerships, channel relationships, and customer pipelines in Delhi, Bangalore, and other targeted regions.
  • Collaborate closely with regional offices (Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai) and HQ teams to align on business plans and market execution.
  • Lead sales planning, forecasting, and performance reviews to ensure profitable growth.
  • Represent the region in business reviews and strategy alignment with headquarters.
  • Ensure effective collaboration across functions such as CM&D, technical, and operations teams to deliver complete solutions to customers.
  • Lead team development, delegate effectively, and foster a performance-driven culture.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 8~10 years in IT hardware business development, preferably in IoT or industrial tech sectors.
  • Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi, and excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders across regions.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams to drive performance and growth.
  • Strong market insight and financial skills with the ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies.
  • Good understanding of the Indian market and customer landscape.
