Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving business growth across Bangalore (Karnataka) in the domestic market. This role involves managing direct end-customer relationships and owning the complete sales cycle—from lead generation to closure and post-sales engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT product sales, strong leadership capabilities, and proven success in closing high-value deals while working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Role & Responsibility:

  • The list of roles and responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager is as follows (please note this is a general indication of expectations and not an exhaustive list of duties):
  • Dynamic and Independent Execution: Operate as a self-starter with full accountability for sales outcomes. Take initiative, prioritize actions, and independently drive end-to-end execution of sales strategies.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Own and drive the complete sales lifecycle – prospecting, qualification, demo, proposal, negotiation, closure, and upselling.
  • End Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Channel Collaboration: Support and collaborate with internal channel teams to develop partner-driven strategies and close joint opportunities.
  • Target Achievement: You will be assigned sales targets on an annual basis, further split quarterly. It is expected that you give your best efforts to meet or exceed these goals. Goal achievement is a major criterion in determining success in this role.
  • Market Development: Identify regional opportunities, emerging customer needs, and competitive trends. Recommend and execute localized GTM strategies.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Provide regular and accurate forecasts, sales reports, and insights to leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, presales, and product teams to deliver winning propositions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10–15 years of experience in IT B2B product/solution sales, particularly in:

(ITSM, Network Monitoring / Security, Infrastructure Solutions, Cybersecurity)

  • Proven experience in end-customer engagement and closing complex enterprise deals.
  • Experience in managing channel partnerships and system integrators.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and goal orientation.
  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
  • Strong command of CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel across Bangalore (Karnataka) as business demands.
