About The Company

We are one of Indias fastest-growing premium pre-laminated panel and laminate manufacturers, operating from a modern 100,000 sq ft factory near Vapi the countrys largest flat lamination unit. To support our growth, we are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead business development in Karnataka and Kerala.

Role

- Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
- Location: Bengaluru
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday

The role will report to the Managing Director and will have 3-4 reportees based in Karnataka and Kerala.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

You will be accountable for driving regional revenue and market share by executing sales plans, managing channels, and building strong customer relationships. Responsibilities are grouped for quick scanning:

Sales strategy & execution

- Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities with builders, contractors, architects, and project consultants.

Channel & network management

- Drive sales through effective management of dealers, distributors, project sales, and retail channels.
- Manage and expand the dealer and distributor network to improve coverage and penetration.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends to refine channel approaches.

Team leadership & operations

- Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team to meet business objectives and improve capability.
- Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit policies.
- Conduct regular market visits to strengthen relationships and increase product visibility.

Collaboration & reporting

- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to plan promotions and drive brand awareness.
- Prepare and present monthly sales reports, forecasts, and business plans to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate or Postgraduate (MBA preferred) with specialization in Sales/Marketing.
- 812 years of proven sales experience in the building materials or construction products industry (for example: cement, steel, paints, tiles, plywood, adhesives).
- Strong experience in dealer/distributor management and project sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region (approximately 60% travel, including frequent inter-city travel, site visits, and customer meetings).
