  • Position: Regional Sales Manager (South & East)
  • Location: Bangalore
  • Reports to: Trade Marketing and Sales Head
  • Team: Area Managers + BDEs

Role Objective: To lead and manage sales operations for the assigned region, ensuring achievement of sales targets, distribution expansion, and team development for the nutraceutical portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive regional sales targets and ensure profitability.

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Manage and mentor Area Managers and their teams.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions.

  • Appoint and manage distributors for effective coverage.

  • Ensure adherence to credit policies and timely collections.

  • Identify new business opportunities and GT expansion.

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and MIS reports.

  • Analyze sales data to improve productivity and ROI.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

  • Deep knowledge of General Trade and Nutraceutical/FMCG markets.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications:

  • MBA is mandatory

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in FMCG/OTC/FMCD in GT sales with regional exposure
